Requirements to Receive Status

To receive status, you must have flown a Delta or Delta-marketed flight in a fare class higher than Main Basic (Basic Economy) within the last 3 years.

Information Required After Purchase

Once ordered, you will receive an email requesting:

• First name on SkyMiles account
• Last name on SkyMiles account
• SkyMiles account email address
• SkyMiles account number

You may also receive a text message requesting a 2FA code from Status Max to complete the upgrade process.

Because this upgrade grants the same promotional benefits as a status match on Delta's systems, if you have already had a status match, we’re unable to apply this upgrade to your existing account. However, we can automatically create a new Delta SkyMiles account for you and upgrade it. You’ll simply receive Gold Medallion Status on a different SkyMiles account number.

Please note that in this case, you will need to credit one flight to the new account before the status can be processed. After the qualifying flight is credited, we will complete the status upgrade. We will create the new account for you and provide the login details once your order has been placed.
