**Requirements to receive status: To receive status, you must have flown a United or United Express flight in the past 30 days. If you haven’t flown in the past 30 days, you must fly a United or United Express flight within 90 days after we process your status. Your 4 months of status will begin after this flight is flown.

Due to United system limitations, we can’t apply this direct upgrade to the same MileagePlus account multiple times, so the renewal must be applied to a new MileagePlus account that we'll create for you. You'll simply maintain Premier Platinum status on a different MileagePlus account number.
